General: EscapeVenture is a brand of EscapeVenture GmbH. EscapeVenture is a team game for people from 8 to 99 years old. The minimum age for participation in EscapeVenture is 14 years. Participation of people under 14 years of age is only possible when accompanied by an adult. EscapeVenture reserves the right to prohibit entry without further explanation. Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash. EscapeVenture reserves the right to modify, close or remove elements for technical, operational or other reasons without prior notice. In such cases, no refund of the admission price can be made.

Services: Our services result from the service description according to the website. Special requests on the part of the participants or ancillary agreements are only part of the contract if they have been confirmed in writing and without reservation by the booking office. The services of EscapeVenture begin with the arrival of the participants at the location. Each participant is responsible for his or her own arrival and timely arrival. It should be noted that the time slots are reserved separately for each group and the room is prepared accordingly. In case of late arrival, the claim to the paid service is forfeited. There is no right to a replacement service.

Conclusion of contract: All persons listed in the booking must have given their authorization for the booking to the person responsible for the group prior to the booking. If a group member is a minor (under 18 years), the consent of the parents or guardian must be presented. The group leader is also responsible for timely payment to EscapeVenture. He/she must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking. Reservations are made through our website www.escapeventure.com. A reservation is not valid until confirmed by EscapeVenture via email. This confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking. By making a reservation, the participant accepts the general terms and conditions of EscapeVenture.

Prices and terms of payment: The prices for the events are noted online in the section 'Book an appointment'. The prices are per person in euros. In each case, the prices valid on the day of the event are decisive. The terms of payment are defined in the booking system. Currently, prepayment via the website and cash payment on site is possible.

Cancellations & Changes: Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 72 hours in advance. To do so, please email us or click on the cancel link in the confirmation email. Deposits will be refunded less third party fees. Occasionally, we may need to correct some details, errors or changes. In the course of this, we may have to cancel or change bookings that have already been confirmed. For such cases, we reserve this right.

Program changes on the part of EscapeVenture, cancellation of the implementation: EscapeVenture reserves the right to make minor changes to the services. This will not affect the validity or content of this contract. It may happen that EscapeVenture has to cancel an event or a booking. In this case, the participant will be informed immediately and an equivalent offer will be made. Should the participant not be able to take up this offer, he/she is entitled to a refund of the price paid. Claims for further compensation for expenses or losses are excluded. The entry to the rooms of EscapeVenture can be denied to the participants (group or individual group members) without giving further reasons, if they are under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs or otherwise behave unreasonably. In this case, there is no right to a refund. If EscapeVenture has the justified impression that the participants use violence and wantonly destroy the facility, the game can be canceled. A claim for refund does not exist in this case.

Number of participants and minimum age: The maximum number of participants per game is twelve people or 24 people if two rooms are booked at the same time. The minimum age for participation in EscapeVenture is 8 years. Participation of persons under 14 years of age is only possible when accompanied by an adult. EscapeVenture is not suitable for people with claustrophobia, panic attacks, discomfort in narrow and dark rooms or similar.

Force Majeure: If the event has to be cancelled due to force majeure, there is no right to compensation. Force majeure are events which EscapeVenture could neither foresee nor avert. These include namely: war, terrorism, political unrest, natural disasters, nuclear events, fire/water damage or similar events.

Terms of Use: Participation is at your own risk. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants or the legal representatives of the participants if they are minors. EscapeVenture assumes no liability for direct or indirect damages such as injuries of any kind, deaths, losses or the like. Neither does EscapeVenture assume liability for services rendered to third parties. Participants are fully liable for any damage they cause to furnishings and items. Photography and filming of any kind within the EscapeVenture rooms is prohibited. The instructions of the game master must be followed without fail. EscapeVenture ensures that the agreed services are provided with reasonable care and appropriate knowledge.

Your Responsibilities: Bookings are accepted provided that all persons arriving enjoy good health and are able to cope with the physical and mental demands of the attraction. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of the group are in possession of the required travel and health documents prior to departure. We cannot accept any liability or associated costs if you are denied entry to the transportation or admission to the attraction country if this is due to a failure to have the correct documents with you.

Third Party Providers: Many of the services that are part of the visit are provided by independent vendors. These vendors provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions. Some of these terms and conditions may - in accordance with applicable international conventions - limit or exclude the provider's liability to you. Copies of the relevant parts of these terms and conditions are available from the relevant provider upon request.

Complaints and Problems: In the unlikely event that you wish to complain about your visit to EscapeVenture or a problem arises, you must notify us immediately. Any verbal notification must be followed up in writing as soon as possible. We cannot resolve a problem or handle a complaint until we know about it. You must contact our team at the attraction you visited within 28 days of visiting the attraction and provide your booking number and details of your complaint. For all complaints and claims where no death, personal injury or illness has occurred, we regret that we cannot accept liability if you have failed to make the complaint or claim in full in accordance with this clause.

Special Concerns and Medical Problems: If you have any special concerns, you must notify us by email at the time of your booking. Although we will endeavor to pass on any reasonable requests to the relevant provider, regrettably we cannot guarantee that a concern will be met. Failure to fulfill a specific request will not be considered a breach of contract on our part. Confirmation that a specific request has been noted or forwarded to the provider, or citing the specific request on your invoice or other document, does not constitute confirmation that the request will be honored. Unless and until specifically confirmed, all special requests are subject to availability.

Privacy: during the game, the group will be accompanied in real time by a so-called game leader with the help of video cameras installed in the rooms. These serve only to ensure that the game leader is informed about the current game progress of the group and can give tips in the sense of assistance if necessary. There is neither a storage of the pictures nor a transfer to further screens or a use for other purposes. In order to provide you with a high standard of service, we may monitor and record your call for training purposes. In addition, we reserve the right to publish any photos we create unless specifically requested otherwise.

Arrival: Please make sure you have directions to the specific EscapeVenture location of your choice. For more information, please visit www.escapeventure.com. Please inform yourself about parking possibilities. Parking is always at the risk of the vehicle owner.

Delays: Please note that EscapeVenture is a live event. Since the rooms are specially prepared for each booking and blocked for the booked time period, it is your responsibility to arrive on time for the booked time period and allow for delays due to traffic, public transportation and other factors. In case of unpunctual appearance, the agreed service cannot be provided and admission to the attraction unfortunately cannot be granted. The ticket will expire and there is no right to a refund. Furthermore, we reserve the right to charge and claim the full price due to the circumstances arising to us despite the non-appearance of our customers (if not previously agreed otherwise).

Change of the terms and conditions: EscapeVenture reserves the right to change the T&C at any time without notice.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction: The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any disputes is the registered office of EscapeVenture in Angern. German law is exclusively applicable.
